Recording 1126 - October 14th 2026

News stories come from the Evesham Journal editions dated the 1st and 8th of October and the Observer editions dated the 2nd and 9th of October 2026.

Interesting news articles include reports on the tragic deaths of two local young people, council chaos, the arrests of two drugs dealers, a new blue plaque and a review of this year’s Evesham Mop
Fair.

As usual, we have the Family Announcements, a What's On section and a round-up of local and national sporting news.

In our special feature, we offer the third in a series of travelogues on cathedral cities of England. This time, Lincoln.
