Pershore Pathfinders Awarded Queens Golden Jubilee Award

Pershore Pathfinders were awarded the Queens Golden Jubilee Award for services to the Visually Impaired Community in 2003.
Set up in 1991 to provide a meeting place for visually impaired people living in Pershore and surrounding areas.
They meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10am-12 noon in Pershore Town Hall, located on Pershore High Street.
They have guest speakers, quizzes, musical entertainment and occasional outings.
There is a pre Christmas lunch and they've also enjoyed boat and steam train trips.
Pathfinders offers the opportunity to meet others and become involved in interesting and worthwhile events.
Members have varying types and degrees of visual impairment and appreciate mutual support and information sharing and are warmly welcomed to the meetings.
If transport is difficult help can be offered.
