Chairman Fran Webb is always happy to attend Pershore Pathfinders and enjoy their company, and Tuesday, the 10th of February was no exception. Chris Parsons MBE retired Mayor of Pershore came along with another of his infamous quizes. Chris, the longest serving town Councillor (37 years) was granted the Freedom of the Town in 2024 on his retirement and as such is able to 'drive his sheep through the town', should he so wish! Chris is the only person ever to have this honour bestowed upon him. As usual he delivered a great quiz and Fran was excited to be on team two, the winning team along with Sheila, Pat and Sonya. She says, "There were only three points between the runners up and the winning team. After answering twenty quiz questions a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit were much needed!"

Everyone got their raffle tickets out hoping for their number to be called. Sue, founder of the group had this to say, "We have a lovely collection of prizes today, all donated by our members."

Pershore Pathfinders meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month 10am-12noon in Pershore Town Hall. Anyone with a sight impairment living in the Pershore area is warmly welcomed to enjoy refreshments and the speakers, entertainment or outings organised by the group. Please call Sue Cox 01386 710294 to find out more.
