Talk Given for the Honeybourne WI - the 'Honeybees'

One of the opportunities enjoyed most by Chairman Fran Webb is an invitation to talk about Vale Talking News to local groups and organisations. On Monday, 19th May she was delighted to be the guest speaker at Honeybourne WI the 'Honeybees' evening meeting. She was warmly greeted by member Alison Baumber and it wasn't long before the ladies were settled and the presentation could begin.

Not all present knew about Talking News for the Visually Impaired Community and listened intently to what Fran had to say. 'It was a very pleasant evening and wonderful to have the opportunity to talk about the work we do, and, of course, before leaving I enjoyed a delicious piece of chocolate cake made by one of the members,' said Fran.
