Talk Given to Honeybourne Over 60's Club

Chair Fran Webb was invited to give a talk to Honeybourne Over 60's Club on the 6th of August. The club welcomes new members meeting on the first Wednesday of each month in Honeybourne Village Hall and enjoys social activities and occasional day trips. A different guest speaker is welcomed each month.

The members were very interested to learn about the history of Vale Talking News and enjoyed listening to a sample of our recordings. Fran was able to demonstrate how valuable our recordings are in bringing local news and issues to the attention of the local community. A discussion took place around local news in the headlines.
