VTN Decorate Tree at Christmas Tree Festival

The Christmas Tree Festival opened to the public and was open daily until the 28th December. It was set up 7 years ago by Diana & Robbie Raphael giving the opportunity to any local group or organisation to display a Christmas tree to advertise and promote their work and services. It is completely free and has grown enormously over the years.

This year saw over 50 decorated trees on display, each decorated with decorations to tell the story of their organisation. For the first year VTN were very excited to be taking part and Volunteers came together to craft decorations specifically relevant to our audio recordings.

A Christmas Carol Concert was held in All Saints Church from 6.30pm on Saturday the 7th of December featuring Avonbank Brass Band, Hands in Harmony and Vale Connections Ladies Choir. Refreshments completed the magical evening with everyone declaring the evening a great success.
