On Monday the 22nd of September 2025 Editor Kim Smith welcomed a very special guest to our Evesham studio and recorded a highly entertaining conversation with 'Son of Evesham', Alistair McGowan who kindly gave his time to chat to Kim and sound recordist, Alex Christison, about his early years in the Vale and his career in various fields of the entertainment industry.

Kim said, "Alistair was keen to reminisce about his childhood in Evesham. He shared many stories from his career and included a good many impressions. Our Listeners will be hugely entertained. It was a delightful morning and we are very grateful to Alistair for coming in."
